Reason #126 – The half-toy Christmas

Today I finished my Christmas shopping for real. I am seriously not buying one more thing! (Sorry Mom! Sorry Sis! I’m an unemployed single mom, remember?)

And I’ve just realised I only bought half a toy for my boy.

This is a shared present for C and the Dane, so I guess C’s share consists of two cones and half a mini football. And hours of healthy family fun! *insert sarcasm symbol here*

“That poor boy! You have ruined Christmas for him! He will be traumatised for life! He will think Santa forgot about him!”

Oh no. No, no, no. There is not chance C will think Santa forgot about him.

C will think Santa positively hates him.

Funny how Santa really likes stripes, meese* and the colour blue, huh?

Thank you, Santa! My boy will hate you forever, but Tim Gunn couldn’t have chosen better suiting clothes for C! And those meese jammies! I die!

* I don’t care if I make a living correcting other people’s writing, the plural of moose is meese as far as I’m concerned and there is nothing you can say to persuade me otherwise.
