Reason #180 – I clean the bathroom with my kid’s clothes
Reason #180 – I clean the bathroom with my kid’s clothes
Aug 17I don’t mean his old, discarded clothes. I wipe the bathroom floor with my kid’s current, in-use clothes.
I present to you the evidence.
Exhibit A: Side of the shirt used to clean the bathroom. (Click to view in all its glory.)
Exhibit B: Side of the shirt used by my son… as a shirt. (Again, click to fully appreciate the evidence.)
Seriously. I could use C’s clothes to clean the house, and they’d still be cleaner than after he wears them.
What’s the best stain removing trick you know? Because I’m at my wit’s (and clothing budget’s) end here!

Watch out with the Resolve… I used it a couple of shirts… and not the old I dont care ones… the brand new worn once ones :( I take some laundry soap, dish soap and clorox 2 and mix them in a spray bottle and use it on everything… you may need to water it down a little to spray better… (The dish soap works great on blood and oils)

Oxyclean Baby works great… as done baking soda mixed with a little bit of water to form a paste and you let it sit on the stain for a while.

i have used my daughters clothes to wipe up the gallon of toothpaste in the sink & on the floor & the side of the bathtub when she’s done brushing at night, but have not put them back on her afterwards. she’s becoming very opinionated & probly wouldn’t let me.

Not immediately – but does she even remember after they’ve been washed?
I think not ;)

I totally just used his shirt to clean up his poopy butt when I couldnt find wipes one day… Shirt and water… Sigh. I felt terrible, but at least it was a spare and I didn’t have to put it back on him :)

Been there, done that! Why do wipes run out just when the poop is runniest?

I wipe up the water from bath splashes with the clothes that are left in the floor. That, or I use thier towels and re-hang them for another use!

I use a little concotion I mix myself……in a small squeeze bottle container mix equal parts of Resolve stain remover, Clorox 2 and laundry soap (I use Gain original scent). Shake to combine and apply to stains. No color loss, no harsh smells and safe for delicate skin!. For super tough stains, I also add a little Fels Naptha soap rubbed into the dampened stain then apply the stain remover mix. Even takes formula and blood out. GOOD LUCK!!

I am going to try this ASAP and report back!

I actually kind of like the effect on the second one.
What are you using to clean the bathroom that doesn’t leave giant white vortexes of complete color loss?
