Reason #191 – I don’t want to hear my son’s giggles
Reason #191 – I don’t want to hear my son’s giggles
Sep 08For nearly a year I’ve used a recording of C’s silly laughter as my ringtone.
Bo-ring.
It sounds just like this, my old ringtone. You might recognize it as the soundtrack from the post about the day I taught my boy to spit.
Seriously. SO over those ringing baby giggles.
Yawn.
But now, NOW I’ve got a cool ringtone, thanks to my beloved husband who made me watch this video at 2 in the morning when I could not sleep for fear the boy would unleash his Horrific Midnight Scream ® as soon as I closed my eyes (Yes, it’s that bad. I am totally traumatised.)
For your hearing pleasure, my new and vastly improved ringtone.
If you can’t stop singing it for the next 5 days, don’t blame me!

Okay, but the baby giggles around second 15? Ah-mazing.
And damn, I wish my Spanish was better. I’ve a lot of that, but some key bits are missing. Translation for the Yanks?

It’s pretty nonsensical, which is what makes it so funny.
The dog is my heart/
the cat is not good/
cilantro is a singer/
cilantro is very famous/
cilantro is the man with the Devil’s cheese.

But…but….cats are way better than dogs. Everybody knows that, right?
