Reason #193 – I dread spending a day with my kid
Sep 12My daycare provider is sick, so I get to keep C all to myself for one more day after the already long enough weekend.
Shoot me.
It’s not that I don’t love my son (strictly during daylight hours, of course), but the sad truth is that I don’t have the faintest idea of what to do with a freakishly strong and fast bison of a toddler who loves nothing better than to RUN!, JUMP!, KICK! and try to BREAK THINGS! while yelling out WAR WHOOPS! at the top of his overdeveloped little lungs.
It’s like looking after a 38″ tall H-Bomb with amazingly fast little legs and a tendency to answer “”NO!” to anything I say.
I am going to die.
Off to herd the little buffalo!
Send help.
And coffee.
And a cattle prod.
And the ground troops.
Off topic, but I’m so envious of that child’s boots! Do they make that for big girl buffaloes?

I love this! I feel this way every weekend my husband has to travel, and look forward to Mondays, when I get to go back to work! I’m so not the creative mom, who has tons of activities to do with them! Thank goodness for day care providers! They have a gift that I just don’t have!
