Reason #25 – I take drugs and neglect my child

Shoo, boy, shoo! Mama’s high!
In yet another case of “damned if you do, damned if you don’t”, I got a vile migraine last night. My options, as usual, were:
- Find someone to look after C, take pills, end pain, pass out for at least 6 hours like a coward.
- Rise above pills, suffer cranium-imploding, eyeball-melting, nausea-inducing migraine, find someone to look after C, cry, throw up, pass out for at least 6 hours like a brave.
Since I cannot look after C either way, and since the end result is pretty much the same, I went for the coward’s way out.
Yay drugs yay.
Shoo, boy, shoo.
What happens if you smoke and drink mt dew your entire pregnancy?

Oh dear. That is just unacceptable. Don’t tell anyone, but I regularly take as many as *3* (GASP!) drugs each evening so that I can sleep peacefully and not turn into a psycho insomniac. Even worse, I force pills down my 10 year old son’s throat to make him pass out as well. Wretched mothers we are. Just wretched.
