Reason #30 – Nobody said it is only for Starbucks
Reason #30 – Nobody said it is only for Starbucks
Jul 09My quest for the perfect stroller was long and expensive, and it ended when I found one with a cubic metre of storage space and two cup holders. We love our big and ugly Buggysaurus! And did I mention it was under ONE TENTH of the price of the gorgeous-but-impractical one I bought in the first place?
(Anyone interested in a barely used Quinny Buzz please email me. My mind was clouded with pregnancy hormones when I bought that fancypants sucker.)
Today I was once more reminded of why I love my ugly buggy so much. I am sure this is what the real moms who design Graco prams had in mind, even if they never mention it in the brochures:
If you had had a day like mine you wouldn’t be so quick to judge. That is all I’m saying.

Confession: Re: reason #29. First thing I did was look to see what kind of drink was in the drink holder! ;)

Fine Italian red, and a lot of it!

If you take your own sport bottle of wine then no one knows, you don’t need to get refills and it is most likely less expensive then buying wine at whatever location you happen to be at. We were at a wine/beer/food fest and a glass was almost as much as you pay for C’s pj’s. :)

I did the exact same thing the other day. Only my Graco is pink with flowers and my wine was white. (It was hot outside!)

Well I would send a picture if I had taken one. I had the camera just no pics of this particular incident. Next time though. I’m sure there will be a next time.

There is always a next time. Tho I promised myself I’d go for a full-sized sports bottle next time so I wouldn’t need refills!
The Quinny is a right LEMON, I haven't been able to sell it! :(
You mean I wanna rethink the *container* – next time I'll use a sports bottle and kill two birds with one stone: no need to return for refills, and no face lost!

I can't believe you still have the Quinny! Hahaha we do love ours though, thanks for the moses basket, we used it SO much the first 4 months (it was A's only bed until then). Now it holds all the toys and other crap we can't use anymore.
You might want to re-think the cupholder.. it could spill!

Love it! I havent had an opp yet to use my cup holder on my simple jeep/kolcraft stroller yet, but I am sure it will happen at some point! I was completely stressed out about the stroller when I was shopping for it earlier this year. My brother and sister-in-law bought a $700 baby something or other high end stroller. I just couldnt do it … couldnt spend that kind of money. So I spent 2 months researching stroller reviews and such because not only did I not want to spend the un-godly amounts of money on one stroller, but I also didnt want to be spending $150-$200 each year for a new stroller because the current one fell apart. What a nightmare it was! Glad to see you found one that works for you! (you’ll be rid of the quinny soon enough! when I was registering, there were two couples looking at the quinny they had in the store … and I was all ‘dont do it!’.)

No judging here …
I disguised mine in a sippy cup.

Imagine the kind of day I’d had: I couldn’t even think of hiding it!
Think I’ll buy a large sports bottle for the next time…
