Reason #38 – I make my son wear filthy rags
Reason #38 – I make my son wear filthy rags
Jul 15While getting ready for a quick supermarket run (what am I saying? Nothing is quick with my boy!) we noticed C’s jammies had received the royal treatment:
- Socks and knees were full of dirt from his enthusiastic
floor polishingcrawling. - Lap and rear had a comprehensive sampling of his dinner menu. My guess from this outfit was pumpkin, applesauce and a cookie.
- Sleeves, hoodie and chest had soaked up their fair share of drool and snot.
The amazing Adi immediately volunteered: “Shall I change C’s jammies? He’s quite dirty!”
To which I replied with these immortal words, uttered by millions of hurried mothers since the beginning of time:
“Never mind dirty, are they dry?”
Yeah. I not only dress my boy in the cheapest baby clothes ever. I also make him wear them encrusted with dirt, food and snot.
And he’s so darn cute he still looks like a million bucks!

Too funny as I am about to go to the store debating on changing my daughter lol

Hey, if it’s dry… go out with your head high! ;)
